New Contents

Dreadspire

  • Entry to the 16th challenge and higher requires an Entrance Ticket
  • Old tickets can no longer be used
  • Tickets previously purchased in the shop can still be used
  • New tickets can be picked up as loot in the Dreadspire (15th Challenge)
  • Three new achievements can be unlocked:
  • Avoid being hit by Kaprima’s ‘Leash’

Group Matching

Battlegrounds

Gridiron

  • Up to now, players with an item level below 400 received equalized gear. This will now happen for all players, irrespective of their item level.

Corsairs' Stronghold

  • Only charms which provide the following effects can now be used:
  • Increased power
  • Increased endurance
  • Increased MP regeneration
  • Damage reflection

Class Balancing

Brawler

  • Reduced PvP attack power by 20% (change already activated before the patch)
  • Reduced attack power against boss monsters in instances by 7.5%
  • Jackhammer
  • Reduced effect of Hammered (endurance reduction) to max 8%
  • Should take effect before equal skills belonging to the Berserker and Warrior (Lancer > Brawler > Berserker > Warrior)
  • Reduced power of automatic critical counters upon successful Perfect Defense to 40% for the following skills and glyphs:

  • Everful Nostrum: Lancers gain the effect: ‘Increases Crit Power by 1.42’

Crafting items

  • Pilka Medicated Bandage VII: Restores 2672 HP per second for 15 seconds
  • Desolarus Heartbeat: Automatically binds to character when picked up

Quests

  • Added new quest ‘Kalivan Returned’; ‘Source of Stench’ quest must be completed first

  • Adjusted time limit of ‘In the Name of Science’

  • When creating a Reaper, players now get a different selection of items
  • Set experience points bonus for characters in a 5-man group in the open world to +100%
  • Adjusted text ‘Learned Skills’ window
  • Improved handling of lots of open quests; reduced lag
  • Fixed problem of crashes when repeatedly entering/leaving instances

Fixed Issues

  • The description to the Niveot Shard states that 8 can be converted into a Niveot Structure, when in fact 9 are required

Crusade

The contents of the Cutthroat and Challenger Leagues have been updated. In February there was a poll in the forum presenting a variety of different options. We’re currently in discussions with Bluehole in regards to when we’ll apply the result of this poll to our region. The content within the first month of the Crusade will be as follows::

From now on the full amount of Masterwork Alkahest will be sent to the guild master per in-game mail.

New weapons are available for Fashion Coupons in the shop:

  • Three new weapon skins for the initial eight classes

In addition, certain items have been rearranged.

Region-specific Changes

As with any update which introduces new instances or alters the prevalence of enchantment-related items, we've also made some adjustments with this patch.

Masterwork Alkahest

Given that the number of daily Vanguard Initiative (level 65) quests available with credit rewards has been greatly reduced, and the number of possible chests containing Masterwork Alkahest is lower than before the patch, the following changes have been made:

  • Number of level 65 daily quests from the Vanguard Initiative which can be completed per day increased to 6
  • Weekly rewards for 9 completed quests adjusted:
  • 10 Bravery Potions and 1 Teleport Scroll: Premium-only Area in a Supply Crate
  • Also in the Supply Crate: Masterwork Alkahest Box
  • Masterwork Alkahest Box added to the shops for Dawnfall and Dawnstorm Tokens

Forsaken Island (Hard)

  • Solo loot: removed Masterwork Alkahest
  • Group loot: added Masterwork Alkahest Box (4 + 5 pcs.)
  • Solo loot: added Goldfinger Token (2x1 pcs.)
  • Group loot: added 9 Elleon's Mark of Valor

Sky Cruiser Endeavor (Hard)

  • Group loot: removed Masterwork Alkahest Box (4 pcs.)

Dreadspire (22nd Challenge)

  • Group loot: added Masterwork Alkahest Box (3x5 pcs.)
  • Solo loot: added Goldfinger Token (5x5 pcs.)
